"Hope is nothing more than wishful thinking. It abrogates definitive focus and creates false friends whom are much worse than true enemies."

I've studied this philosophy so often. People place too much stock in hope and positive thinking. One day, when they need it the most, it won't be there. Simply because they've failed to rely upon themselves and let everyone else help them out.

Lack of hope has kept me more alive than counting on it. No false sense of securities, no loop holes, no miracles, just me.

It sounds pessimistic. However, if that logic is true, I prefer false hope to true sadness.

The word bullsh*t comes to my mind! Hope is what gets me out of bed in the morning, keeps my dreams alive, allows me to meet and enjoy new people.
Of course I've been let down, had dreams die and people use me in many ways- But because I hope for the best I have more successes than failures.

That hope doesn't create false friends, false friends are a possible result of hope, as are best friends.
