4 straight losses to the Red Sox was a collapse.
This year they just got beat in the playoffs by a better team. The Yankees pitching is bad, has been for a few years yet Georgie wont do anything about it except blame Torre when it was an accomplishment to get them to where they were with that pitching staff.

You call that a collapse!?! At least they won a game which is more than you can say for the Phillies, Angels, and Cubs.
A collapse would be what they did when the Red Sox beat them 4 straight games in the playoffs.

How did they get this far with their HORRIBLE Pitching!
It's a disgrace to have a pitching staff like that!
Why in the world can't they get good pitching like the Red Sox or Indians!
And of course they pick a great time for their Bats to go COLD!
Let's get rid of Cashman!!!!!!

THEY LOST THE FIRST ROUND OF THE PLAYOFFS 3 YEARS IN A ROW!!!! NO PITCHING....NO HITTING....NO CLUTCH PLAYS OR HITS.....MR. CLUTCH DEREK JETER HAD RUNNERS ON THE CORNERS HITS INTO A DOUBLE PLAY!!!! JOBA THROWS A WILDPITCH WICH TURNED INTO THE GAME BEING TIED AT 1!!!!! WANG COULD NOT BUY HIS WAY OUT OF THE 1ST INNING IN BOTH OF HIS STARTS....FARNSWORTH NEEDS TO GO....
ok i feel better now.....Get over it they lost the Tribe was a better team.....now we wait and see what Geroge is going to do......I think its going get ugly before it gets better....Oh and by the way 2004 ALCS was a Collapse.....this series they were just beat by a better team!!!
