Obviously England v Argentina would be an excellent final - rivalry between the two countries still runs high in sport (see how the English press get themselves worked up every time the football sides meet), but I think whoever makes the final will make it excellent.

England v SA is obviously another massive rugby rivalry (check out what the bokke fans think about england fans on keo.co.za) and would be very interesting in context of the pool match between the two.

France v SA is another massive rivalry, and France have been somewhat of a bogey team for SA in recent years. You would also imagine that, despite being hosts, France would go into the game as underdogs, which as we saw on Saturday can make them very dangerous.

France v Arg would again be a passionate affair, especially given the amount of Argentinian players who play their rugby in France.

I couldn't say that any one of these matches would be better than the other, but as an England fan, Eng v Arg would be a belter.

Good for England because it will show the rugby public world rankings mean NOTHING when it comes to the World Cup + it would be good for a country to win it twice in a row

Argentina because they are rank outsiders & it would be good to see them progress this far + they are a Southern Hemiphere team so that shows it is a true 'World Cup'

And finally England will ram it home that they have not forgotten the Falklands war by crushing Argentina

Like - Yes
Likely - No
England v France is very even, wet rainy conditions and team fitness favouring England, The Saffers will probably blow the Argies away and go on to become the second team to win it twice. But after seeing England crush Oz mercilessly last weekend, I don't care any more. That will keep me going for a long time.

Absolutely! That would be the perfect match up for 3rd and 4th. Now in the actual final, we will have the two teams most likely to give us a game worthy of a World Cup Final...Springboks against France.

Yeah! Because England are the last champions and the Pumas because they are different... all the teams defend in more or less the same way; the difference with Argentina is the passion and heart they put into it

No i definitively would like to see an Argentina vs France match and hope that french team "les bleus" at least will beat "pumas" since they 've got quite difficulties to beat them that would be a great revenge and Argentina in final would be great because they deserve it (like Fidji would have deserve to beat South Africa : amazing team)

I wouldn't. I'd like France v South Africa.

Because I'm Scottish. If England win we get England's victory shoved in our face for eternity and Argentina beat us, and you don't support the team that beats you. Unless you have an affinity with them. (like me and Fiji)

That would be an interesting 'FINALE'! Especially the Pumas are underdogs in the World Cup and it would be nice to see them hoist the Web Ellis Cup!

Good Luck Pumas...U are Pumacious!

Yes. That would mean that France are beaten by Argentina in the semi's. Love to see France beaten by anyone (other than Germany as that usualy leads to a world war). England would then be favourites to retain the championship.
