A problem to solve, a curious mind,
Perhaps something's missing,
A thought left behind.

All of the above are (more or less) humorously true. But, if you've read very many questions around here, you'll understand why I suggest that the ability to put a noun and a verb together (with spelling and punctuation sufficient to make a comprehensible sentence) would be an -excellent- place to start ☺
Which, BTW, you've done nicely with this question.
After that........ What's on your mind?

There is mystery all around, and there are many things unknown to us. One begins to wonder about things, strange things, and things those one do not undestand. It is this wonder that ultimately culminates in Philosophy.

Asking questios to one's own self is the first stage. Then we may ask questions to others. It is this ability to question is what is unique in human, and not taking things as granted. It is these whys and hows that civilised us. Perhaps it is the gift of nature to man, to ask questions, to reason and understand, and to know.
