I seen a Man hit a woman once in the parking lot while she held on to an infant. I walked up to him and busted him in the mouth. I was arrested and charged. She also pressed charges on him and he was arrested and brought to jail.
When we got to the jail, I was released and he was kept and very close friend of mine put hoim the bull cell. He ogt a valuable lesson in poetic justice.
Never hit a woman.

OK this is a good question also it is difficult! No man should hit a woman at all. especially if she cant fight back and defend herself thats a punk move and he is a *****!!! But also no real woman should jump in a mans face and hit him,threaten,abuse him if she cant fight back. Just as well as a woman who beats p her man and he doesnt fight back she isnt right either. abuse is abuse and it shouldnt be tolerated or accepted. There are too many lifetime movies,news stories, and true crime stories of people bieng abused by a spouse or loved one and they stay thinking its going to change??!!!! W T F what part are they missing. If it continues and gets worse how in the hell do u feel it will get better? Most abusive people have mental and emotional troubles, They cant or dont want to get better! Why? Cause they have dumbass people who stay and let them continue what they do cuase it ok in there head. Hell to the No get it right people wake up and smell the coffe before ur family an friends end up at the funeral home smelling the formaldahyde and crying!!!!

What would justify a woman hitting a man?
Self defense is the only reason I can think of.

Only if the woman had the capability and intent to cause substantial physical harm to the man. Otherwise, no. A man should never hit a woman, even if the woman hits the man.

Well in my personal opinion that depends on circumstance. If the woman is violent to the man, self defense is understandable in the form of restraining, etc. But without reason, it's unacceptable just as it's unacceptable for a woman to hit a man without reason.

Self defence if she is attacking him with an object and seriously endangering his well being. Also, organised sports such as martial arts and boxing where there are rules and guidelines and coaches. Other than that, nothing. A man should never hit a woman out of anger AND vice versa.

A couple things actually. If she were hitting him and she couldn't be restrained. If she were beating up a girl close to him like a girlfriend or little sister. Or any member of his family. I think a man has a right to stand up for himself, and to defend the people he loves just like anybody else.
