We are both 23 yr olds........I am studing abroad in Computer Science while she is a dentist back home. We both will be completing our studies this year. Ill be looking for a job abroad and hopefully I should be doing well by next year.
In her case however her parents are in a hurry to find someone for her and get her married. They already know about us but they are not ready to give me time till my parents send them a proposal. She wants to get committed too as she is under pressure from her parents all the time. Sometimes we end up fighting about it and I dont know how to console her.
My parents are very conservative and they want us to wait till I am stable, to approach her parents. Also there are other issues involving family differences. But I think things will workout once we are married
So when should we get committed? When would be the right time for us to get married............good enough for me to be stable, support her and also support further education for her

sound like a marriage of convenience and a shot gun wedding. marry whoever when you are ready. dont allow her or her parents/family to pressure into doing something that you dont want to do right now at this point in YOUR life. if she is in such a hurry tell her to marry her mother and father. You don't necessarily have to postpone marriage until you have completed your education. Many successful couples start out while one of them is in school. But I am worried that you might be getting engaged just because you feel pressure. I think you should talk with your girlfriend more about this.
