Tell him/her that you are really tired and may not be safe in doing what you are currently doing. If your boss is a good one, they'll understand and will relieve you. My heart goes out to you; Good luck!

Pfffffffffffft! Are you kidding?! I started out at this homeless shelter as a resident (now working here). If they fired me, I'd still have a roof over my head, & 3 meals a day. Since I'm a live-in employee, 14 hours seems about normal to me (but I only get paid for 8-hr. shifts). Heck no, I don't do everything my boss tells me -- he told me not to get on this business computer to play around on Yahoo Answers!

I drive myself harder than my boss does. He tells me when enough is enough. I try to make improvements and save the company money through my inventions and techniques, but sometimes the road to hell is paved with good intentions. I usually end up telling the boss what to do or what I need done. I have a great boss who trust me and gives me plenty of freedom to do what I want. He knows he can drop something on my lap and it will be done. He always keeps me informed of up coming events so I can start to prepare ahead of time. I think we get along because we neither want to let the other down.

yeah, i usually do what my boss tells me unless it involves cleaning a bathroom, then I blatantly ignore them. No, I probably wouldn't leave before I was supposed to but I feel for ya, I was in the Army and had to do 24 hour shifts of sitting at a desk basically doing nothing. It was so hard to stay awake.....especially since we only got about 4-5 hours sleep every night for 3 months!

Yes, I usually do ..... I really like my job and my boss ...... I am sorry about your situation ...... just hang in there and do your best, ok? ...... if it gets to be too much ....... you need to stop and go home .... it is not worth endangering yourself or your patients ...... you boss will have to understand if you get to that point........= )

i could like to take heed to the different factor of the story. Confronting your father's company with your anti-Semitic physique of strategies gets him fired. bypass to the state and document a grievance.
