Well even though u are a virgin u have periods and ur body is going thru the womanly changes. So what is happening usually before and after ur period ur body as far as ur ovaries, uterus, and fallopian tubes have to adjust to normal size and sometimes u feel it. What happens is ur fallopian tubes adjust for the ovulation period which is when ur body releases the egg so u can get pregnant but since ur a virgin and ur cervix is closed it can be a lil more painful during certain times and no pain at all other times. just remember to drink plenty of water during this time and stay away from salts and high fructose sugars and syrups they cause bloating and retain water which causes more pain hope it helps and u feel much better. also for the pain u can still use the midol or a warm compress. be blessed and safe

Being a virgin or not has nothing to do with it.
If you're ovaries are swollen you should seriously go to a doctor, it might be an infection or a cyst.

Or it might just be gas....

Are you on birth control? Could be your meds. Also, I don't think being a virgin would take you out of the sick ovary club. Check with your OBGYN. Maybe get an ultrasound. An ovarian cyst is not to be taken lightly if you have one.

Go get it check out by a doctor. You might have gas. It sounds funny but its true. If worse came to worse it might be something like a cyst on an ovary.

Virtually all women in their childbearing years have period pain (or dysmenorrhea). In fact, it's a leading reason for calling in sick to work or school. "Your uterus is a muscle, and it squeezes really hard. "Sometimes it can squeeze so hard it blocks the arteries coming into it. Just like in a heart attack, when the arteries are blocked, it causes pain."

You may a good source and Vitamin and Minerals.

Even if you are still Virgin, there might be chances of cancer. Not trying to scare you the best is to visit your doctor or gynecologist.

Nothing to worry about. These changes from womean to woman. I have severe stomach aches before n you have cramps later. Nothing to worry about. Periods is all about the formation and protection of the womb in all women. Ovaries swelling can happen.

Relax there's nothing wrong with you!!!!

You may have endometriosis, or you may not.

I have always had such bad cramps that they sometimes continue for 3 or 4 days AFTER the period is over. I've been examined many, many times and no abnormalities of any kind exist in my system.

Unless I get 800 mg. of ibuprophen just BEFORE my period starts, I am just one miserable kitten.

Why couldn't your ovaries swell. Pretty sure that's not a result of sex / pregnancy.

If they don't go away by morning, you should see a doctor, especially if they get worse.
