My grandfather in the 70's had a lot of 8 track tape and played them in his truck. I loved listening to Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard. When going for a ride with my Grandfather and sister.

I definitely remember 8 tracks, and I remember 45's (the records) too.

I definitely remember them, but never owned an 8-track player or 8-track cassettes.

Oh yes, I remember them very well. I had several and a big console stereo to play them on. Brings back memories, doesn't it? I wonder if they are worth anything today---I have thrown all of mine away. What's more, I still have some 33-1/3 and 45's but have nothing to play them on anymore.

lmao. well I use to have a collection of them, and cruised around in my 63 chevy that was lowered with rims and little tires and a little white stering wheel. Those were the good ol days. I hate the constant boom boom, that comes with the rap that I cant stand. ♥j

Rewindining and fast forwarding sucked, so slow, and they wore out easy, and the carrying case for them was more like a suit case.
