why come less and less kids go to camp fire usa? i worked at camp Niwana this past summer and i had the best time of my life, but i just dont understand why come more kids go to camp. You can meet new friend, swim, have cookouts, and i lot more. can anyone give me an answer

Good idea to camp in summer, close to nature.
Some people want a feeling at home, some want to airconditioned with good sleep,some concern about safety, some think camping as no class.Kids are spoiled.

These days parents are paranoid about letting their child out of their sight.
They are fearful and don't trust others to care for their child (look at how many nannies have injured children?).
Also, on a positive note, so many parents work full-time that they want to spend time with their kids rather than let them go off to camp.
