I'd go with Thompson. But keep in mind that the nomination isn't over yet.
As for McCain. No. He pissed off to many conservatives with McCain-Feingold and the Amnesty Bill.
Romney. Maybe. Don't see it though. Seems to be a little too much animosity between the two.
Ron Paul. Don't make me laugh....or cry.
The rest. Not serious candidates to begin with.
Don't rule out someone not on the campaign right now, regardless of who you think is going to win the nomination.

If he gets the nomination his running mate will be a VERY social conservative... the reason being that Rudy will be afraid that the social conservatives won't go to the polls. Maybe Rick Santorum (a long shot) or Bill Frist (someone from the Deep South).
It won't be McCain... maybe Thompson, but he isn't really socially conservative by his record.

How about Anne the Man Coulter for Cross Dressing Rudy. They can have the first Trans gender Ticket, and Fred would have to look for Barney. Some younger and smarter then him, would not be a difficult task.

Fred Thompson is the best VP for Rudolph Giuliani because both of them are faring well on the polls.
VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know if Giuliani will likely win.
