If you are over 12 years old, you should use adult Tylenol or Advil. Put the pill in a spoon of apple sauce, yogurt or ice cream and swallow the whole thing. Normally you need two pills of 500 mg each, that is a total of 1000 mg every 4 to 6 hours. If you want to take Jr. Tylenol, you should take 3 tablets if your weight is 72-95 lb.
I have a master's degree in pharmacology.

Overdoses start at the 4,000 mg per 24 hour range, although most folks can go up to around 6-8,000 before it is really serious. Your dosage for your weight would be something like 3 tablets, which is just slightly short of 500mg, I think it actually works out to something like 480mg in the three tablets. If you want to use the child products, that's fine. The Tylenol folks have a dosage calculator at their site, plus the instructions. You can find drug dosage instructions for most things online just by typing in the name of the drug, and "dosage".

I have the same problem, I can't swallow pills so I go for the chew-ables. Take 3 and if you don't notice any thing take a 4th one, but don't go over 4. They now sell Tylenol extra strength for adults in chewable form, they work just as well as pill you swallow, plus they taste good.
Just remember, if it's not extra strength you can take 3-4 safely.

Well Honey, If I were you, ask your mom about Tylenol or Advil should have instruction on the package to tell you how much the medicine are you taking. But, your mom should tell you first before you taking the medicine.
