Ok, so I am at the fight with The End. I suck at sniper fights so I am having difficulty. Does anyone have some tips on how to beat him.
(I know about the ways to kill him before you even fight, but I'm past those parts now and need help on actually defeating him.)

There is actually a cheat for this but I'll post that at the end
This is a very annoying fight. check your map frequently and use the Directional Mic and listen for snoring (He sleeps), if you don't hear any, move to the next area and search again.
Make sure to watch your stamina if you've been shot as it will drop quickly.
It's also possible to "Hold him up" and you can get his amazing Moss Camo which restores your stamina out doors
Good Luck: This fight requires an immense ammount of patience and time.
Now for the cheat: If you save your game and set the system clock ahead exactly 2 weeks he dies. Simple as that.

i finish this game around 2 years ago.
it's so easy laa.
firstly u use tranquillizer as ur primary weapon.
then u use some kind of infrared thermal google.
and u search for the heat surrounding,The End release heat body.
u can see them.

set up claymore mines around areas that he has been and set them to detonate upon movement. after that when you see where he is put on the thermal goggles to see his footsteps and follow him and pull out an automatic weapon and just shoot him down. and keep doing that to beat him. it takes awhile but worth it. if u need more help ask me, i already beat it awhile back

If you have thermo goggles, you can trace his steps (most of the time).
You can just hide until he dies of old age, but you want to get his rifle though, its awesome (just kill him with a tranquilizer gun)

Save your game, turn off your PS2, reboot it and set your PS2 clock ahead two weeks. Then load your game.
The End will die of old age. You wont get his camo or his gun, but it will finish the fight.
