My so called friend Jana has been telling people that she texted me and said Hey! Whats up?
She told everyone that I said I can't talk to you because I'm Shelby Maynard's best friend. ok. Shelby and I are real close probably because we are both named Shelby. But the rest is lies. What should I do? I wanna beat the shiz out of her!

you could have Imed me Shelby, just tell the principal what is happening, and she'll take care of the situation, at my school, we can't tease anybody, or we get detention, i never got detentions at my school for 8 years in a row, so tell principal, or teacher, or yard duty ppl, your done!

how do you know if she told people that you said that. its not a big deal..why would you want to beat the shiz out of her? dont cause drama. if shes your friend..talk to her and ask if she did say it..if she did..then ok...i wouldnt know why she did..but who cares. get over it..dont be her friend..go be friends with shelby lol

Why does it matter anyway? Just ignore her, she just wants attention. And if people ask you about it, just tell then that it was a lie. In like a month or even a week, this won't even matter. She's just childish.

Personally, I would be on the lookout for friends who are less catty.
You also might want to go directly to the source, she may not even be the one who is lying. Do some investigating and go from there.

Explain to everyone she told lies to, and tell them the truth, considering that she hasn't told over 1000 people already. Defend your image and be easy for people to talk to. Then people will know that you are approach able and friendly and soon people will stop believing her.
