I have had extremely sore breasts for over a month now.. It started about 2 weeks before my last period.. My period was 6 days late but it ended on 9/24, it only lasted for 3 days... I thought that the breast soreness was because of my period and they are still soooo sore... I have also had occasional cramping too... I thought that i could be pregnant, i took a few tests and they all said negative,
what else could be causing this pain?

It can also be related to something called costochondritis which is an inflammation of the cartilage around the ribcage. I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be going on.

Are you wearing the right size bra and cup. Is your bra rubbing against the nipple? You are not alone, most woman have sore or feel that the breast is heavier when period is about to come.
