I love both Holden and Catcher. Be careful about pairing a word first name with your word last name, but in general, I don't find these overly problematic. I wouldn't pair Holden with Ander, however. The back-to-back -en/An- sounds just don't flow very well.

I just commented on your longer list, and am very sorry to see Electra moved to the middle name position. :( It was probably my favorite from your list, and perfectly in line with your actual heritage, from your additional comments.

Faruza was likely my second favorite, but I'd stick with the more familiar Firuza or Fairuza forms. Also, since you mentioned Greek heritage, this might seem an odd choice unless your partner is Iranian. And I still don't care for the alliteration with Faye, for what it's worth.

Still not into naming a child "Maiken Bond," by the way. Literally a combo that sounds exactly like she's just made her bail? Just seems poorly-thought-out, know what I mean? I'd nix that one in a heartbeat.

Good luck! ;)

I really like Holden Ander!!!!! very nice! = )

I love the way Catcher Reese sounds, but I just know that kids will have awful gay jokes, especially in middle school. I usually don't choose names based on teasing (they're gonna do it anyway) but this one could cause a lot of pain.

Of the girls names, I like Maiken Electra the best...... but really like:

Maiken Faruza
Maiken Rellah
Maiken Bishop

Very unique names and you chose ones that flow well. I am one of the fans of the less common and often criticized names.

Hope this helps = )

Speaking of car names... A woman who used to work for my parents has a daughter named Mercedes Lexus Nash...

I really like Holden Ander... I'm not a huge fan of either of the girls names, but if I have to choose I would switch the middle names and go with Maiken Faye.

I love the name Holden but I would use the middle name Reese with it. That is just my opinion on that.

Holden Reese Bond

Not sure about the girl names but Maiken Electra is the better or the two although again I would I would use Maiken Faye Bond.

Ok hope it helps a little. Congrats on your miracle!

Wow! Those are quite some names :D You like to go out of the norm, I take it?

Honestly, I don't like the connotations I get with "Holden" and "Catcher" very much. Holden I like better than Catcher. But I do like the latter two pretty well. They sound more unique, out of the norm, but kind of cool. Maiken, though, I'm not sure if I know how to pronounce, and if it's a girls name (i'm assuming it is), it sounds a tad masculine. But that can work, actually--it's not the typical girly name, but a tad of a tomboy. Faruza sounds like a name that could get made fun of in school. But it sounds exotic, and like a girl that could take care of herself. I actually really like the middle name "Faye" with it--it has a good ring--and if she chose to have a more toned-down name, she could always use this.

These names highly remind me of "Catcher in the Rye." Did you do that on purpose? If so, you were successful. If not, you may want to reconsider, if you would like people to be reminded of the book when they meet your son.

Personally, "Holden Ander Bond" sounds more manly than "Catcher Reese Bond."

As for the last set, they remind me of cars. I personally like "Maiken Electra Bond." It has a very cool ring. The alliteration in "Faruza Faye Bond" may bit a bit much, but very eccentric as well.

Good luck!

i think holden ander is okaaay. do they sell holden cars where you live?

catcher reese is better. i would prefer is the other way around Reese Catcher Bond... but catcher reese is the better of the 2.

Maiken is an ok name. electra reminds me of carmen... fairuza is an arabic singer. which is ok, just thought i would let you know... and i like faye.

overall:

Holden Ander Bond - 2
Catcher Reese Bond - 7

Maiken Electra Bond - 4
Faruza Faye Bond - 4

you need to put a James in there somewhere, preferably middle name. And catcher, well, ur kid will get a lotta gay jokes in highschool and Holden, wait, did u get these names from Catcher in the Rye???

Faruza is very exotic sounding and Maiken is a very heavy name to pronounce and I guarentee no one will pronounce it correct the first time, it will get really really annoying fast.

I loved the middle name Cruz with Holden soooo much more. I like Reese but not catcher so much. I still adore Maiken but I preferred it with Emery. And Faruza is still not my favorite...hope this helps.

Holden is cute
Catcher not cute maybe use Reese as the first name.

Maiken and Faruza is just down right ugly and would you really let your childs middle name be Electra?? Not cute.
