Let's say you make great grades in school. As of right now, you're a straight A student. If you tell people and start helping them on homework, are you gloating too much or what?

Gloating is where you rub it in people's faces and stuff like that. I was majorly wondering since friends and people who arent my friends ask for help. People always tell me I'm too smart and they call me The Brain.

I'm a straight 'A' student too! <<>>
No, i wouldn't call it gloating, as long as you don't like totally make a big deal about it. And expect people to thank you and stuff. As long as it seems as though you're doing out of the goodness of your heart, you'll be fine.
