I have never heard anything good about Macco unless you just want a "slop-on" paint job. It's the old adage "You get what you pay for". I wouldn't bother with anyone that quotes you less than $1500.

the price on any good paint job starts at about 1500 bucks and goes on up,i have seen some cost well over 5 grand before,i got one right now working on it that will be well in to the thousands by the time im done with it,its sort of a project vehicle, but the price of the paint job will be based on how good the body of the truck is,and also what kind of paint you want to use,and the color will also be a factor in this,im doing a black vehicle and it cost more to paint a black one,you need to take the truck around to a few places in your home town, and have them price it,set down before they price it though,it may be really high, paint and materials are so high right now,its become ridiculous, and its not getting any cheaper either, but for any good job expect to pay at least 1500 to start with, good luck with it.

Macco is notorious for terrible paint jobs. If you want something good, go somewhere else. I think a 57 would look good rat rod style with red wheels and flat black rattle can paint but thats just me.
