First you should probably figure out the 2(3x-1), which means you have to multiply each figure in the parentheses by the number on the outside, which is 2.
Now your equation will be:
3x+5-6x+2-1=6x-2+2x-3
Now add up all the x's and the integers. Your equation will now be:
-3x+6=8x-5
Next, you need to move the x's to one side of the equation or the other. It does not matter which side you choose, but in order to do this, you must change the + or - sign of the figure to the opposite sign (if it's a plus sign, move it to the other side of the equation with the negative sign).
Therefore, your new equation will look like EITHER:
6=11x-5
OR
-11x+6=-5
Finally, you will want to isolate the figure with the x, which is either an 11x or a -11x. To do this, you will need to move either the -5 or the 6 to the other side of the equation by changing it to the opposite sign (if it's a -5, move it to the other side and change the negative sign to plus; if it's a 6, move it to the other side and change the positive sign to a negative).
You will have either:
11=11x
OR
-11x=-11
Finally, to figure out x (for the first equation), you will divide by 11 BECAUSE THE EQUATION IS STATING THAT SOMETHING (x) MULTIPLIED BY 11 EQUALS 11. This is an important note...you must understand that you divide by whatever number x is multiplied by. [For example, if it was 11x=22, you would still need to divide both sides by 11, because you are trying to figure out x, and dividing by 11 would cancel out the 11's in the first part of the equation, leaving only x=22/11, which is 2.]
11=11x...divide both sides by 11, you get 1.
-11x=-11...divide both sides by -11, you get 1.
x=1

3x+5-6x+2-1 = 2(3x-1)+2x-3
1. Combine like terms
-3x +6 = 2(3x-1)+2x-3
2. Use the distributive property
-3x +6 = 6x -2 +2x -3
3. Again combine like terms
-3x +6 = 8x-5
4. Isolate the variable (x)
11x = 11
x = 1
Plug it in to check your answer
3(1) +5-6(1)+2-1 = 2(3(1)-1) +2(1) - 3
3 + 5 -6 +2 -1 = 2(2) +2 - 3
8-6 +1 = 6-3
2 +1 = 3
3 = 3
Hope it helped ;)

I'm not going to do it for you but start with this. Solve each side of the equation separately. #x minus or plus another #x adds or subtracts just like aany other number. The rest is simple math. Don't forget to multiply numbers inside the parentheses by 2. It's always easier to break down your parantheses first and then solve the equation. And you can take factors back and forth across the equals sign as long as you remember to have it be the opposite sign(+ or -) once it gets to the other side. If you did it right the answer is 1 = x.

3x + 5 - 6x + 2 -1 = 2(3x-1) + 2x -3
3x + 5 - 6x + 2 -1 = 6x -2 + 2x -3
-3x + 6 = 8x - 5
11 = 11x
therefore, x = 1

Using a calculator and press each button it works
3 x + 5......8 (I've never heard of an equation 3 times plus 5)
8 - 6.......2 (I think when you use multiple functions, plus,
2 x + 2......4 (minus, times, divide, the last function is the one
4 - 1.......3 (that is used)
3 x - 1.......2 (figure the equation inside the parenthesis)
2 x 2.......4 (then multiply it by 2)
4 + 2......6
6 x - 3.......3

thats correct because:
3x+5-6x+2-1=[3x-1]+2x-3
-3x+6=6x-2+2x-3
-3x+6=8x-2-3
-3x+6=8x-5
6=11x-5
11=11x
1=x
