I do not remember that I was ever fooled>It was not so because of my intelligence or alertness, but I feel I do enjoy some divine protection against being be-fooled and against accidents.

yeah this one time in San Francisco I was parking my car to go to the Giants baseball game and this guy came up to me and was writing this ticket out and gave it to me and was like "it's $25.00 for parking today just put this on your dash board" and something seemed fishy about him I had a weird feeling about his shoes...a person wouldn't wear the shoes he was wearing if he had to be on his feet all day...they just didn't look like work shoes. I should have trusted my gut, I said "well why are there these machines over here that give out parking passes" he told me"you can pay there or with the lot attendant" so I was like" well let me read what the sign says. and it said something like make sure you get a receipt from the lot attendant if you pay with them. so I asked him if he had a receipt for me and he said the ticket was the receipt. He kinda made me feel bad for not trusting him which should have been another clue...but I gave him the money and he gave me the ticket and told me the gates were open at the end of the lot so I wouldn't have to walk all the way around. so I went to the end of the lot and the gates were locked so I walked back and started noticing that all the other cars had diffrent colores parking tickets on their dash boards and the guy was long gone when I made it to the front of the gates and I got this sinking feeling in my stomache. I met up with my husband and after like 30 mins. I just keep thinking about it and I told my husband "I think I got jacked." and he was like what do you mean you lost your wallet or your purse?" and I was like "no I think I got jacked at the parking lot" and I went on to tell him what happened and we walked all the way back to the lot and the real parking lot attendants were ther in their uniforms with their badges and stuff and I told them what happened and described the guy and they said that guy is always scamming people and not to give my money to anyone not wearing a uniform and badge. To top it off I had to pay another $25.00!!! I was so mad!! I just felt dumb! Dumb for not trusting my gut instinct, dumb for feeling bad about not trusting the guy, dumb for walking all the way down the lot, just dumb! I have to admit I cried a little. my husband was kinda mad so that made me feel bad too. But after a few long islands I started feeling better. But I learned a lesson that day and told every one about it so it wouldn't happen to them. and I remember what the guy looks like and me and my husband always say if we see him again the next time we go to a game we are gonna whoop his butt! and steal his money! lol! I hope every one learns from this!!

when I was a kid, my dad told me that ATM machines are operated by monkeys behind it.

Now that I work in a bank, I think my dad was not fooling me at all. I turned to become a mischievous monkey myself, playing tricks to less fortunate people. Not that I like to, but I have to. :(

does cheating fall under that category? if yes, then yes...I believed that the person wasn't cheating on me, even if in reality I do, becasue I trusted the person and the person said that he wasn't cheating on me. Unfortunately,I found out from his other girlfriend tht he was...and he eventually told me that he was after we broke up...I gues that's where the phrase "Love is blind" came from...
