Gravitate towards her, she's a very good, sensitive, beautiful person. I think she's a person who is very sensitive and cares about being thought of well by others. Lacks confidence, but an excellent person who is more than likely very smart. Can't get a better friend than that.

I going to assume this person is you. But I'm sure you want me answer truthfully, so I'll try to without hurting your feelings.
There's nothing wrong with being a little shy, especially while you're still young and discovering who you are. In fact, if you remain shy you're entire life, that can still work for you! Sometimes the best kind of friend is one that won't butt in every other word and just listens to you, and you sound like one of those types of people. ^_^
I'm one of the those types of people too. I'm usually quiet around other people I don't know, and don't know how to talk "correctly" when I'm nervous. So I usually make friends with outgoing people that like to talk. So for me, I don't think you and I would mix very well, since both of us would probably be so shy that no talking or bonding would go on at all!

She sounds like me, that's what i think.
As for the impression she gives, it's subjective. I think she's probably a shy girl, a little insecure and uncomfortable. Afraid of people finding her unattractive or uncool.
I gravitate towards those people generally, I get along with those that I understand.

It sounds to me like she could have low self esteem or a social anxiety disorder. I was so shy in school and around boys that I sometimes could NOT talk if I wanted to. I would not distance yourself from her just because of this, it has NOTHING to do with her as a person.

I think I'd feel kinda sorry for her and I would gravitate towards her, unless she ever gave me a reason to be distant. There could be a wonderful friend behind that quietness.

Shy people don't always latch onto other people when they show attention towards them. Sometimes, they will actually try to push those people away when they feel they are trying to get too close to them.

shy people are always hard because you might know that they are a nice person, but if you talk to them and show interest in them they will latch onto you like a leech and wont let go. Then you get sick of them and have to be callous for your own sake. So it turns out to be more rude and mean than not talking to them in the first place. Im sorry, its the way I feel
