Right now I hate what Im not able to do/achieve in life and not being as good as others. I hate where Im at (literally) and what I have to do. Not having the right ability to do what I have to do makes this whole situation more frustrating. I've been wondering for like 8 years on what I really mean when I say, " I hate my life" because most of the time I say it because of something I did. So which one is it?

I would say that self hate results from blaming yourself for an unsatisfactory life, while hating your life is a matter of blaming your surrounding environment and the people in your life. So I´d say you hate yourself.

From reading your question, I dont get the impression that you really hate yourself. It sounds like you are confused between frustration from not realizing your full potential (creative energies being blocked by circumstances) and hating these circumstances that hold you back.

You have to love yourself before you can get your own psyche's cooperation. You are a team. the fragile genius temperamental you and the practical reliable one that gets you to exist day by effing day.

Let the latter one make a plan to find opportunites, and let the first one prepare projects for these opportunities. Teamwork will be your mantra.

Hating yourself and hating your life are 2 different things. When you say u hate your life that's something that you can't control. Something that just happens by accident. When you hate yourself its something you can control but something that's out of your control. Desire is a mighty powerfull thing and when presented in front you have no idea of how to control that want.

There is a big difference between life and life circumstances. Ego judges self by its life circumstances; consciousness-the true self, learns from every experience no matter how the ego judges it.
