Tough question. There are so many contenders for the top spot. '.....oh what a piece of work is man!'

uuuhhmmm...the mongols had a pretty effective scorched earth policy. Hulagu, the grandson of Genghis Khan just for starters annihilated the Muslim army that defended Baghdad in the xiii century and then went on to slaughter about 80,000 men, women and children in the city in ONE DAY! (considering that they had no WMD this is pretty impressive)

The Roman conquerors of Carthage were no cub-scouts either.

The allied bombing of Dresden is pretty horrific too and the atom bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki have got to figure in any Hit Parade of this nature if we are going to base the scoring on numbers of people horribly executed in a single day.

Stalin has to be a contender right up there at the Top of the Pops together with Mao and Pol Pot(although P.P. doesn't qualify as a conqueror of anything, does he?)

Naw,the neocons,as such( if by this term you limit yourself to the group of ex-Trotskyites advising the White House on foreign policy)are mere beginners at the game. Rank amateurs.

My vote is for Hulagu the Mongol, though. That 10th of february in Baghdad sometime in the xiii century shows a real dedication to bloodlust!!!

Do you think of it grow to be demonics which contain Nimrod taking what's useful to God. perhaps taking human lives on alters of those "gods" grow to be an attempt to bend the Almighty to the will of the demon. "i will proceed to kill those till you supply me my wish?" _______ Animal sacrifices have been yet another count. virtually each animal grow to be used as nutrition. YAH grow to be thanked and the animal grow to be bled and eaten sometime by using purely the preists and now and returned by using all of the persons. "Sacrifice fellowship alternatives, consume them there, and revel in yourselves in the presence of the LORD your God." (Deut 27:7) "...the LORD thy God shall % to place his call in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, on the occurring of the sunlight, on the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt. 7And thou shalt roast and consume it in the region which the LORD thy God shall %: and thou shalt turn in the morning, and flow unto thy tents." (Deut sixteen:6-7) evaluate the persons of Israel: do no longer people who consume the sacrifices take part in the altar? (a million Cor 10:18) we've an altar, whereof they have not have been given any astounding to consume which serve the tabernacle. (Heb 13:10) particularly distinctive.

Although we have plenty of "Modern Bloodthirsty Conquerors" in World History, I must settle for the following and in the same sequence:

-1- Adolf Hitler ( And, the first one because we lived in modern times his path of destruction while wanting to conquer the world).

-2- Jihad (the Islamic Conqueror considered one of the most vicious in the world).

-3- Genghis Khan (who left the Mongols to become one of
the most terrifying conqueror in world history. For this very reason there's a myth believing that Mongols were one of the most bloodthirsty people in history, when in reality was one of them leaving them and building his own empire of destruction).

-(Did you noticed how many, but, how-many crimes against humanity were done "in the name of God?" I am just speechless...)-

Not really bloodthirsty. Everything back then was done for another reason. People were more primal and killed usually for needs, or expansion of their empire. Think about what's going on in Iraq. Who are the bloodthirsty? If Hillary Clinton gets presidency, she will have nukes, and other arrays of weapons of mass destruction at her disposal. That's more chaos than Genghis Khan and Atilla the Hun thrown together. Let's add Hitler in there. At least Hitler was smart.

The Mongols without a doubt. And what is this BS about putting "Neocons" on the list? If you want to see people that have done just as much killing as the Mongols, check out the Liberal's best friends. Stalin, Mao, HoChi Minh. Paul Pot. Before you start smearing anyone you better look at your own house first.

I'm going to go with the British Colonialists. How many people were killed, captured, and enslaved due to their policies that lasted for CENTURIES? How many wars were fought for the British Empire wanting to exploit "weaker" and "heathen" peoples to rape their lands of their resources for the sole benefit of the crown? The sun never sets on the British Empire, eh?

I'd say the most bloodthirsty conquerors in history were Muslims, led by the bloodthirsty Muhammad, who cut a swathe of blood across the middle east to subdue converts. It was either convert at the point of the sword, or die. It's estimated that Muhammad killed over 600,000 innocent men, women, and children in his lust for power and control through his religion of peace.

And they are still killing today, every day, as they have been since the beginning.

Muhammad is the most blood thirsty conqueror in history.
