Prehistoric covers a vast amount of time! My specialty is the British neolithic and Bronze Age.
In Neolithic times they wore tanned hides (not shaggy skirts as you see in naff artwork!) and cloaks that could be either tanned or left with fur for warmth. Things could be sewn together using gut or woven reed/grass. Shoes were again probably hide or could be felt. They took care of their hair--we have found bone pins for it.
By the Bronze age fashion was on the up-and-up. Women wore long or short skirts and some wore their hair in nets. Men had tunics and cloaks, either hide or woven. Buttons and toggles were used as fasteners--for the wealthy these could be made of jet, amber or even gold. Necklaces of shale, shells, amber and faeience were common in female graves. Very high status men had basket shaped golden hair tresses tied in their hair, and again, unlike most artists' depiction, some of them might have been clean shaven as bronze razors have been found.

With the nature around them. Branches and the trunks of trees, rocks for the shelter. Leaves and shrubs for beds/pillows. Maybe, animal skin for clothes or grass skirts and exposed up top like how tribes dress.

They didn't. They waited for the government to give it to them. Some prehistoric tribes died out while waiting, but the really intelligent tribes survived because someone else provided them with everything they needed.

Science can't explain it but what if they didn't live by the "Laws of Physics?" back then? The Bible talks about how magic is forbidden. What if our ancient ansectors used magic to create buildings to live in? Wouldn't that explain the Sphinx, Pyramids, and Stone Hendge?
