Utter and total demise?

The fact that all that is being discussed on ESPN is about the Yankees, how did they lose, why did they lose, is Joe staying or going, is A-Rod leaving, what did Jeter do wrong, should Mussina have started, the list goes on and on and on and on, and the fact that every other question on Yahoo answers is a Yankees this or Yankees that, I don't see this as a demise, I see it as more press then ever before. When they start not talking about them then you can say that the Yankees have met their demise.

Yes Georgie. The roll of honor is now Diamondbacks, Angels, Marlins, Red Sox, Angels, Tigers, Indians.

Hey Cleveland fan, My wife and I live in Michigan and are Tiger fans. We went to the last series with the Tigers in Cleveland. I have never been to a park with such rude fans in my life, and I have been to several. Boston, Chicago, NY, where people know the game and are true fans. We never treat fan's like that when you guy's come to Detroit and I have personally talked to several of them. No wonder your team was in first and the place was half empty. Who wants to go there. Anyway, do you honestly think you'll beat Boston? LOL!

I am so sick of all the Red Sox - Yankee stuff being rammed down the throats of the rest of the country, I hope the Indians sweep the Sox so those of us west of Manhattan Island will have something to cheer for.

Go tribe!

If the Indians beat the Red Sox too this will be the best postseason ever, regardless of who wins the world series!

Well, I'm lovin' it, but it's much, much more sweet that the Indians are going to the ALCS. The Yanks were simply an obstacle. But yeah, it was totally awesome that it was them! Go Tribe!!

Yep, I'm lovin it.
All that talk about nothing.

They had their chance once again and totally blew it once again. Oopps, i mean the Tribe showed them how baseball is really played.

I'm sure that that champagne tasted even sweeter to them.
