Almost every major city and a lot of small towns have many streets named after famous heros--Washington Street--Lincoln Ave--Martin Luther King Blvd and so on. Also a lot of High Schools are named after Presidents and heroes. Some were named after the astronauts killed in the Shuttle disasters. Every Military Base Ive been on has Barracks--Halls-Sporting Facilities and so forth Named after fallen War Heroes. A lot of Aircraft Carriers in our Navy are Named after Presidents and Heroes of Wars. The WW2 M-4 Sherman tank was named after Civil War Hero William T Sherman thus the Sherman tank. The replacement Tank for the Sherman was the M-48 Patton--Named after WW2 hero George Patton. Hope this helps you with some ideas!!!!
