Actually, no, I haven't done it.
It seems pointless to do that just for self-satisfactory..
If you want your answer to seem 'smart' then just wait for other people to give you a thumbs up, not give other people a thumbs down.
If you don't get any thumbs up, then obviously your answer shouldn't be deemed smart because you think it is.
Amen to that.

No..Thumbs up is what makes you look smart/witty.If everyone else has a thumbs down but you,it's quite obvious who did it..and that doesn't look smart at all.
