I can fit either a 3 or 5
(just depending on the brand )
and I have a 27 in. waist
I was just wondering because I've heard people say that you
have to be like a size 0 or something
but I've also heard people say that you can be bigger and
still wear them and look good
( I'm going by American sizes by the way )

whoever said yopu must be a size 0 to wear skinny jeans is wrong,wrong ,wrong! that is rude and it doesn't matter what size you are. as long as you feel somfortable in them and think you look good, that's all that counts. nobody should have to be a certain size to wear something. that is just wrong. i hope i helped you.

First of all, you aren't too big for anything. Size 3/5 is still tiny! Many things will look good on you, including skinny jeans.
I say if you like them, buy them! There are no regulations. I'd wear them and I wear an 11/13. Just whatever you think. Don't let other people's opinions of what you should wear cloud your judgement.

When people say you "have to be a size 0 to wear skinny jeans" it's an exxageration of the stereotype that only skinny people look good in them. If you look good in them, wear them to your heart's content. The stereotype is false, as are most. Certain things look bad on everyone, and certain things look good on everyone. It's just a rule of clothes.

honestly, it has little to do with your size, but how you look in them. i think generally if you are slender looking, no matter what the size, you are OK. curvy people are generally the only ones I don't think look good in them. Of which I am curvy, and I look terrible in them.
