Bill suffered through impeachment proceeding for lying about an affair with Monica. That went no where. I think this question relates to the fact that many more people feel that George has done much more to hurt our freedoms and our way of life. The executive branch exceeds its authority by shredding the constitution and bill of rights, and by imprisoning the accused indefinitely and being the judge, jury, and law makers in those cases. The executive branch has thumbed its nose at international law and has interrogated using methods that are deemed torture by most countries. George has also been flip floping on the reasons for our invasion and occupation. It's mostly about oil, but it's also about no-bid contracts and wag the dog. The press has been sleeping. Where's our 'liberal press' when we need one.

In order to restore our balance of power, George must be impeached. It not right for any president to have such overextended powers. It's not right for the next Democratic president and it's not right for this one.

Mr. Clinton was not impeached for infidelity. If one reads the charges of impeachment, they entail lying under oath - something that no one, much less a lawyer, should ever do. Slight differenece there....
