Not! ther have additional sealant to them like wax or sprayed in plastics..

If it's a plastic cup, you can check the bottom for a recycling code. It's a triangle made out of arrows with a number in it. Most recycling places will only take plastic that has a 1 or 2 in the triangle, but you'd have to check wth your local recycling station to see if they'll take it

Many are recyclable.

You just have to look on the bottom for the triangle of arrows and the number indicating the type of material it is made of.

Many restaurants use a great deal of recyclable materials as they are readily available through suppliers and there may be a financial difference in the purchase price.

Whether it has the sign or not I still put it in the recycling bin if that is your main concern. : )
