Your body generally needs about a year to recooperate between pregnancies at a mininum, but as for you being ready again....well that is entirely too personal of a question for anyone to decide but you and the baby's father. What do you think? Are you ready for a newborn and a 2 year old?

I don't think it is to soon to have baby number two because if you think about it, you will have to get pregnant, so your son will be close to two years old by the time your baby is due.
My kids are 10 months apart and I love it.
I love having my kids close in age. RIght now, my son will be 3 in March and my daughter will be 2 in January. They play together all the time and follow each other around. My son will come up to me asking where the baby is because she got out of his sight.
It is so cute to watch them.
I am trying for my third and last baby right now. I want them to be close in age but it's been hard getting pregnant this time.

So to answer your question, it isn't too soon at all. Go for it.

My ObGyn assures me that your body knows when it is ready, and if it is back in a condition to conceive, you can certainly carry through a healthy pregnancy.

So the only real question here is: Do you feel capable of handling an infant and a two-ish-year-old at the same time?

Since none of us know your medical history, I would go to your doctor for an answer to this question. Good luck!

That is really a personal question and needs to be up to the two of you and no one else.

Not for me! I want to conceive #2 by the time my daughter hits one.

no, i wish i had my kids closer together ( i have 2.5 year gap) unless you had a c section then you should wait at least 18 months otherwise why not, they'll be closer while growing up.
