Okay so I have a half day tommorow and a talent show. Therefore each class is only 10min. long! So I ask my mom very nively if I can skip. My mom told me it is fine with her as long as my dad is okay with it. So my dad saind it is fine. So I was very happy and I put some homework for tommorow. Suddenly my parents realize it is report card day tommorow. So now i have to go to school and finish all my homework. My parent put an extention to my bed-time because of my homework (2 and a half hours!). This just sucks I had it planned out I can relax, sleep late, and sleep in. What really ticks me off is that I have all my grades and I can show it to them. My mom says she would have given me the day off if I had all A's like normal. But this time I screwed up ona test and got all A's and one C. But my parents knew about this for about 3 weeks! This just sucks and I dont think my parents were being fair. Do you think they were beng fair?

Fair? As in FAIRytales?
Stop whining, grow up and obey your parents. In fact, go out of your way to do something extra for them tomorow!

Maybe not, but no one ever said parents had to be fair all the time. It's less about them wanting to break a promise and more about changing their minds after receiving new information. Sorry, stuff happens. If this is the worst thing that happens to you (this year even), you're doing pretty good.

Well, they are being parents, as I am one too! BUT THEY were wrong by saying OK to you skipping tomorrow without having all the info... THATS where they are wrong... in my opinion they needed to stick to what they told you... AND make sure you know, NEVER again til you bring up your grades to where they SHOULD BE!!
At this point? You cant change it, so just suck it up and do what you need to do and be glad about it... make the grades you should and NEXT TIME, no problems right!?? Being surly or mad or mean, will not make you feel better....and will not get you anywhere with your parents!!
Better luck next time!!

Sometimes parents tend to "lie" but they are not doing it intentionally adults have many things on their minds from payments and duties and taking care of everything that sometimes even though they know something is going to happen when children ask while parents are distracted or at the spur of the moment parents dont remember everything so they tend to agree to something without thinking i know its harsh when they do that but its life you'll understand later when you take on too many responsibilities like college and work and friends and relationships you know but as a word of advise dont bitter your life cause of something so simple enjoy these days that they have to support you cause once your on your own your going to regret those days you ruined cause you got mad at something so simple just be happy :D

It's not a question of "fair".
They're trying to do what's best for you, and sometimes that requires them to change their minds when they get new information.
You need to give up this notion that "fairness" has anything to do with the parent-child relationship. If it did, parents would get something out of the deal.

each so often can provide are purely no longer basic to maintain. perhaps those human beings have very stable intensions, yet there would come something that would not remember on them and that they simply won't be able to maintain their can provide. or this is purely too no longer basic for them and interior the tip they simply won't be able to, and that they did no longer think of plenty till now making the promise. existence is complicated. i'm happy which you think of adequate and are careful adequate till now you're making can provide so as which you would be able to save them. some human beings purely won't be able to.

No explain to them they shouldn't say one thing and then say another, that is a bad example to you because you can say you will finish your homework and then not, sounds very tight and a bit strict if you were going well in all other subjects, talk to them about it.

I am glad they changed their minds. School always comes first. Teaching you to skip, is not a responsible thing for parents to do.

Yea, you were trying to deceive them. You knew it was report card day, yet you still asked to skip.
