Red Tip Sharks? As in Tinfoil Barbs? http://www.thetropicaltank.co.uk/Fishindx/tinfoil.htm These fish get huge and need COLOSSAL tanks due to their schooling (a school is 5+ fish of the same species) orientation and high activity levels. Unless you have a tank of more than 125 gallons, avoid these.

Another possibility for "Red Tip Shark" would be the Red Tailed Shark (6 inches). You could fit 1 of these in a 20+ gallon tank. They are best kept alone because of their violent territorial disputes between their species.

Tricolor Sharks (also called Bala Sharks) are very similar to Tinfoil Barbs. They get more than a foot long and are extremely active, making them suitable for nothing less than 100 gallons. What size is your tank? That will be the main factor to determine what else you can keep with your Pristella Tetras.

get only 1 red tip shark they are agressive towards the same species as they grow up abd if u wanna get a tricolor ( bala ) shark then you will have to get at least 3 or 4 of them they like ot swim in school however how big is your tank ?? and with priscella u can have a dwarf gouramis, other tetras, rasboras, danios, cory cats, somekind of a small catfish ,rainbows, and possibly some of a dwarf cichlids such as bolivian or german ram( they are expensive and most of them are males ) kribs

You need a school of small but fast swimmers. Try neon or cardinal tetras. Their red and blue colors will complement your other fish's colors very well, and their size will be a nice contrast, too.

You need fast swimmers, because your fish may grow into bullies--so don't get anything with long, swishy tails like a betta or angels.
