Do you consider peroxide a chemical? If you can, while the stain is new, soak the stains in a little cold water first. Blot with a paper towel, then put the item in the bathroom basin and pour peroxide directly out of the bottle. You will see it start to foam. Let it sit a little while then wash in cold water first. Good luck. Jane

Soak overnight in cold water. First answer is best if peroxide isn't to "chemical" for you though.
