If Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad handed out candy to little American kids on the streets of NY after the UN speech, do you think he'll change hearts & minds of Americans?

Is this reverse tactic genius or what?

If he did, someone in our government would track the kids down, poison them, and use their deaths as justification to attack Iran.

These are American kids we are talking about right? Yeah, he'd be their hero for the day at least. If Ahmedinahad had a Paris Hilton/Brittany Spears act then he would win over their hearts and minds.

Candy in the form of propaganda maybe.

I think that other countries have taken a page out of our book for winning the hearts and minds of a country in order to defeat them. I think he has been very effective in his criticism of the US by making himself sound reasonable and the US unreasonable. We're not used to that. We do that to others, they don't generally do that to us. We shall see more of this I think as the US gets more aggressive to support it's global position, other countries will start viewing us as the problem.
