Or should I just give in and leave them? There are no actual windows...just the cutout. And I'm having a hard time finding as window that's even that shape.

I web-searched and found a place with round-top windows and with just the round tops to be used with regular windows. See link below.

If you don't mind the square window being a little smaller than the rounded one, you can "board it up" inside and out by making a new window frame that covers up the old one. Then you can make it a contrasting or complimentary color.
