I know he is your friend and you love him like family and feel like you can trust him but remember... he is still...no matter how much affection and love and sleeping in bed with you... he is still a ROCK. Maybe special and dear to your heart, but not rational. You can't trust a rock...you just can't no matter how much you want to!!! You just don't know... besides...don't they have laws in your town on that....? Do you have an encaged *Rock Run* where you can let your pet rocks free?? I mean he really should socialize with other rocks and pebbles too!!! And meet the igneous and sedimentary rocks.... he's a metamorphic right??

No. Keep him on the leash because rocks run in packs with other rocks and it will run it's *** off to be back with it's own kind.

You better put a leash on him he will run away and you will never find him, it would be like finding a needle in a hay. lol

Well of course you need to take him for walks he needs his exercise. As for off-leash, I don't know it really depends on its personality and training.

Careful with him, I think he is catching wind of a female rock in heat in the neighborhood. If he gets some of that he will howl all night.
