It is better that the war be fought in the country of the terrorists rathen than turn our countries to be the battlefield of terrorists.

With borders like swiss cheese and illegal immigrants coming and going as they please, eventually the streets of America will become the main battleground in the war against terrorists. How many terrorists are residing in America already? Those that pulled off 9-11 were living here, illegally and just waited until it was time to strike! Whether American's would rather fight terrorism somewhere else has nothing to do with reality. The stage is being set in all 50 states. America has been being invaded by illegals who go unheeded with the U.S. Governments blessing! America is in decline and like President Lincoln said, it's demise may well come from within. A house divided cannot stand! Politician's have sold America down the river....all the crap about Republicans, Democrat's, Liberals, Conservatives is moot! They are all anti-American people who are here legally and are looting this nation at will to feather their own nests!

That is truly nuts

No one is going to say oh yes of course I would

This question pre- supposes all the things that dictate you get the answer you want

What you are saying in effect is if the American military pulls out of Iraq then all hell will instantly break lose and a million terrorists will run wild -

That is the supposition - you have made in order to ask what you have

If you are telling me that there is that sort of presence of terrorists within the US then

Sir fire every last police officer and inteligence officer you have they are no good at all -

So if America pulls out of Iraq then what happens is the incometance of all your levels of government comes to light ?

Is this the suggestion you make ?

Wow

Ha! I just had an epiphany. Those 150 000 troops >8000 miles away in the middle of the desert are keeping us safe. No way could terrorists fly to Central America and sneak across the southwest border as long as our troops are busy in the desert sand.

you must not know the definition of a terrorist , terrorists by action don't fight in large groups. they attack in random fashion , and strike where the troops are not stationed at or in a rapid fashion. so we would never be fighting them in the streets.

i feel sorry for you if you are buying into that argument

Yes, but I would be along side them fighting the terrorist instead of a chicken who would rather see them fighting in Iraq. So you rather have a soldier die in a foreign land while you play on the computer in your parents basement. You sound like a real chicken to me kind of like that president who had his dad give him a fake job in the military.

Troops fighting in the middle east isn't stopping terrorists from attacking here.

It's a silly question. It's like the lawyer in court demanding to know "Have you stopped beating your wife yet? Yes or no!?" Of course the right answer is I never beat my wife, and if we leave Iraq it will have no effect on the desire of terrorists to come to the United States. A common way for politicians to manipulate the public is to set up false dichotomies. "Either you agree with me or you're a traitor!" Don't fall for it.

What you are attempting to justify is maintaining the war in Iraq and fighting terrorists while putting Iraqi lives at risk solely for our benefit. Did anyone ask the Iraqi's if they were willing to die for Americans?

Take a look around you and do research.
