I'm not sure what the litre conversion is, but I can give you some answers in GALLONS.
20 gallon = 1
40 gallon = 1-2
50 gallon = 1-3

Do not house a male/female or male/male pair. If you are housing 2-3 leos in one enclosure, I would only suggest females. One male will do fine with a group of females, but breeding may be an issue.

Leopard geckos are solely solitary reptiles. They don't get lonely. Housing more than one in an aquarium can cause great stress on one or both of the geckos.

If you MUST house multiple geckos in the same enclosure:
* make sure you have only ONE male
* all geckos are the same size
* 1-2 in 20 gallon; up to 4 in 40 gallon; up to 6 in 60, and so on

never house more than 2 or 3 in the same enclosure. This will cause even more stress and possible bullying upon the geckos. You want to be sure that you can watch bullying, and you can't sit up 24/7 to watch for it. You want to be able to make sure that each gecko is eating a full meal.

Leos are solitary creatures, so should be housed alone. Sometimes two females can be housed together in a large tank (say a 40 or larger). But you have to watch for signs of stress or dominance, and have enough warm and moist hides for both. Males should never be housed together, no matter how large the tank. Even during breeding, the male and female might not do well when kept together for very long.

I would house 2 in a 20, and 3 in a 30 and so on. Never house 2 males together. One male per tank.

Hi ZGOLDSMITH! I preffer to keep my Leos in diffrent Reptariums/Aquariums (Proffesional reptile breeders preffer to call the reptariums over aquarium, it makes a name for us) at around a 30-35 Gallon reptarium for each leo (Adults, males) but for the females, I put my ladies in a cluster of 3 to one 95 Gallon tank, and they have been having a perfect time together (I have 6 divas so far! and 4 "Studs" as I call them 'cause of their fast and succesful mating seasons) but look for a "longer" shaped tank rather than a "Tall" tank, because Leopard Geckos like to go up branches, but preffer to dwell around the base, and PLEASE do not cram your ladies together (If your going to do it like me) by putting lots of unneccesary accessories, all you need is the basics and 2-5 hiding spots for a 95 gallon tank

Leo's are social and, in the wild, live in social groups called barracks. These have one male and several females. A male and two females can live in a 20 gallon. Although a 30 gallon would be better.

CAUTION: 2 MALES CANNOT BE HOUSED TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
