Is a door-hang jumper age appropriate for an 18-month-old, or is it more for younger babies? What are some things that your babies love/have loved that I could use as a gift idea?

An 18 month old is going to be past the weight limit on a door-hung jumper. Maybe a freestanding version like the Jumperoo, but I've had my baby using that since 4 months old and she's 10.5 months old now and gets bored with it pretty quickly. I can't imagine that she'll use it at all by 18 months.

Some great ideas for an 18 month old:
Fisher Price Ball Popper
Stacking toys
Shape sorters
Ball pit (one that folds away)
Or just look at the front of the boxes in the toy aisle, they're marked with what age their most targetted towards.

A baby jumpers for a younger baby ( like below a year old). Babies that are about 18 months old our usually walking by then so you can get a push toy.

A baby jumper is for a younger child. Generally kids are walking at 18 months--They like push toys that they can hold onto and walk with (ie. there is a lawmower, or they have trucks that turn from a walking toy, to a sit down toy) they like music toys. Hope this helps

That is more for a younger baby. They have weight limits on them. Most dont go past a year in age though. It is for babies that generally are not walking, or can't walk very well. If they are walking around and probably over 25 lbs, they are to big.
