I watched each of my five children come into this world. It is lovely for adults who are ready for the lifelong commitment it takes to raise a child.

Yes. My twins. I watched my son being born vaginally and I thanked God I was a man. It was like watching someone giving birth to a bowling ball seeing his head slowly appear. My daughter was born C-section. The doctor made a four inch incision and just pulled her right out. Her arm was tangled around the umbilical cord. She has been a klutz ever since, but a lovable klutz.

I had two of my own I did not get to see being born...had c sections and they put me to sleep. I am a paramedic, I delivered 2 at work, another in the back of an ambulance and assisted in delivery of 1 more while doing rotations at the hospital, ...anyone who does not believe in miracles,,,needs to see a baby be born... it truly is a miracle in itself..

I had the privilege to attend a birth some years ago. My good friend at the time (lost contact over the years with moving etc) asked me to be there. It was wonderful to share such a special time of someones life.....the little baby would be about 8-9 years old now. She was also named after me. What a gift!
Of course then there was the birth of my own two girls....i was DEFINITELY there then! lol.

No, thank GOD. When my girls were born, the husbands still waited in the waiting room. I`m sure that if I had witnessed the first one being born, there wouldn`t have been a second.

I have 2 kids and I didn't see any of them being born. The first one because it was so tramatic and hurt so bad I missed it. The second one I didn't see because she came so fast nobody was prepared.
I did kind of see my grandson being born by C-section. I looked over the little curtain just in time to see him being pulled out.

Yes, I saw my friend's son
being born...I was one of
her three labor coaches.
She had broken her leg while
pregnant and had to deliver her
son while still wearing a cast.
It took four of us to hold her
legs and help her to breath...
The nurse was the fourth one.
It was really an amazing experience.
