Since Sadam caused the death of millions... it may be still true..

we should rethink our objectives and how to go about them. Although we would like to be a restraining force in the world we should not be shielding the various groups over there from making the hard choices they need to make in order to live together in a greater measure of peace. We don't want the place to collapse but we would like the various groups to work toward peace and get along better instead of shielding them from the necessity of making the hard choices

and in the case of Iran, we should be enlisting the aid of the Israelis to help convince the Europeans that Iran having nuclear weapons is way worse than avoiding some confrontation. Iran is moving quickly and there is not time to diplomatically dawdle

It is important to convince the neighboring countries it is not in their interest to have a spilintered Iraq or a nuked up Iran

The sooner we realize that we made a mistake by invading Iraq, the sooner we can get about the business of cleaning up the mess. As the Iraq Study Group opined, it is going to take diplomatic engagement with neighboring states, including Iran and Syria. If we don't seek that, then, we are doomed to failure.

I think there are many Iraqis who have very good reason to resent us. Yes, we got rid of Saddam, but we've created a chaotic situation that few can see the end of.

WHO WANTS TO? Who cares if they like us or not and why should they...I hate what we're doing over there....we've made everything worse and spent $190 Billion doing it and lost all of those soldiers.....

All we've done is trained and provoked more terrorists and lost the love and respect of the world.....good job W and all you people who reelected him.

where do you get the idiotic notion WE KILLED 100,000 of them? Saddam gassed those he did not like, or murdered them in his prisons. In two wars, the death toll on their side is not even close to what Saddam personally killed. What is your source for the number in your question ?
