My grandson is 11 years old, and I'm very proud of him.

He was given the opportunity to attend a Magnet school this year. It's a very different kind of Magnet school, it's for youngsters who wish to pursue Law Enforcement, Fire Fighting or Para-Medical occupations. His grades had to be above average to even apply, and he got it. He's doing quite well, too.

He also is a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.

The most marvelous thing about this child is that he's got character that most kids don't have until they are much older. He's courteous and respectful of everyone. I think this is a throw back to his parents. They've taught him well.

I expect his younger brothers, ages 6 and 1, will follow in his footsteps. The 6 year old beat him in the Science Fair at school last year. He won over everybody in their school

Yes, I'm the proud Grandma of some very talented kids.

Well I have 13 grandchildren all together, including two great-grandchildren. One of my granddaughters is a freshman in college and is a beautiful singer. She competes in singing contests often....and wins. Another granddaughter is a junior in college on a soccer scholarship. Two of my younger granddaughters are involved in soccer as well and we feel that one will continue on in the sport. My son is a soccer coach. Another granddaughter is a very well known dog trainer in our area. One grandson is just starting out in football and loves it. The only other grandson is still wearing bibs and pampers. lol

Wow! "Granny' brag blog!" My 15 year old (my daughter had him at 20 years old) is no 13 in the under 18 marathon (running) and no 32 in cycling for his state. Also, getting A's in math ans science (defiantly not inherited form me!) Very good little actor too! The other two, one is very talented in art, inherited from his Aunt, who is an amazing portrait painter. The other little one has not quite found it yet. but she is very tall and lithe for her age. Unfortunately, they spend all their time wathcing home DVDS.

Well, no grand kids here, but if I had any I'm sure that the "klutz" talent would be passed on to them. It has been passed down through many generations on both sides of my family.
