He did NOT have a belly button, however, he did have a label on his belly that said "Made in China" as well as a UPC code.

Why is this question so important and what difference will it make in your life? Why would Adam need a belly button? He was a created being, made in the likeness of God. Since he was created he did not need one like those born after him. The belly button is where the umbilical cord was attached to a mother's womb. But I'd like to share a joke with you.
Belly Buttons Explained
Q: How do babies get their belly buttons?
A: When God finishes making little babies, He lines them all up in a row. Then he walks along in front of them. He pokes each one in the tummy with His finger and says, “You’re done…you’re done…you’re done…”

No.
Just as men don't have a missing rib on one side, Adam doesn't have a belly button.
This story certainly gets people divided. How sad.
There may be many plausible interpretations of the Genesis story, but, which one is true does not affect my belief in G*d, or my willingness to read the Bible.
The most important function of the Bible is the lessons about what kind of people we should be today.

I wonder if the ultimate question is: Does God have a belly button?
If Man has a belly button,
and Man was created in the image of God,
then God would also have a belly button.

There are a few ways to look at it. If he was created by God then he may or may not have had a belly button, just whatever God decided at the time.
If you believe in evolution with or without a god then he would have had a belly button.
Personally, I think he had one.

Yes. No. Maybe. I am not sure. I do not think that it would have had any function besides his own amusement and curiousity. I know people who spend hours meditating about their own belly button. It gives them something to do.
Good question. I hope that you are able to reach a good conclusion as we will never know.

If you take the Bible and the creation story literally, he did not. If you accept that Adam was simply the first man in the Hebrew history, yes he did.

LMAO...why in the world are you thinking about this? Are you thinking that God created him so there was no umbilical cord? Sorry. Didn't meant to laugh at you, but come on...is this what you're really wondering tonight?

I don't think he did either because he was just made from dust. Anyone after Eve would have because they were born and not just created like Adam. I don't know if that makes sense to you but it does to me : ]
