You can get them back. Email ones you can, make contact with all and hope they realize what happened. lol
You are not the first to do this and it takes time, but if you had good fans, it's worth it.

That is horrible! You have to add the people so they will add you in return and become your fan. Just add everyone who answers your questions! When they get the e-mail that you added them, they'll add you too! Your other fans will add you when they see your avatar if they suddenly stopped receiving your questions in e-mails and were answering them!
