No, a child with problems has them regardless of what kind of music they listen to or television they watch. A troubled child needs help.

Insane Clown Posse listeners can generally be sterotyped as the ****** up kids, but it really depends. I listen to Disturbed, but I also listen to Tchaikovsky, avril, the police, and a variety of other music. If Insane Clown Posse and other screaming heavy metal bands are all you listen to, then you're idolizing that music, and yes, it probably is harmfull. If you listen to those bands out of an appreciation for their musical abilities, then you're probly ok.

Recent psychological research shows that the music one listens to only reflects the inner state of the human mind. Listening to "angry music", for example, does not make one angrier.

Hmm, my daughter is sixteen and she knows an entire family of icp fanatics. I don't know if it has harmed them but I know they consider themselves to be gangster, and often fight as a group instead of handling things reasonably, the odd part is its not just the kids, but the parents also, so is it the family or the music? IDK, but I do know that music can influence the mood your in or how you view certain things, especially in youth. Just like teachers have influence towards children politically, just ask Rush Limbaugh. ;-)

I have listened to it and I turned out fine. Its not the music that associates harm. The people that he associates with might though.

Not really. Some people take it too far, but it is not just teens. Screaming music is just another genre that most people assume is "bad", "emo", or some other non sense stereotype. People make their own choices not music.

It really depends on the individual listening to them. Some may get affected and way into it and some wouldn't get affected by them.
