No. Most taxes are exceptionally beneficial but government has become so corrupt that more taxes has gone into unnecessary spending.

Taxes is what creates an army, provide education, initiate city infrastructure, and protects civilians.

Theft is an illegal taking of the property of another. Taxes are all quite perfectly legal.

Or garbage pick-up, snow-plowing of your streets, or public parks, either.
