Have you given any though to scrap booking? I don't mean the out of this world style, but books and materials from the dollar store.It is a creative way to make a permanent record of events in their life ,which are important to them.The journaling aspect will allow them to practice some creative writing. This can be as simple ar as complex as they like.It could be used as a present for Chirstmas or a birthday to mom,dad or grandparents.
