They have been ruined over time (kids plugging in devices over and over and over again) and I just need them replaced. Is this something I can buy and do on my own to save a repair cost? I'm pretty handy. Tell me I can do it, and I will. :)

My Laptop at work was in that same condition, we called Dell and was told that yes they could replace them. However the cost would be almost as much as a new laptop. I ended up getting a new PC.
