Not necessarily, especially if they've lied to you before.

When in their presence, yes. However there is one caveat. I have never met anyone who has told the full and complete truth over any amount of time. Therefore it is turned into a negative by the people themselves, in that I discern that they are not telling the truth even when they believe they are. Therefore, I've only a few times met a person that told me the truth.

I can usually judge sincerity, however that can be wildly different from truth.
Rather than knowing they are telling the truth, I usually get a decent indication when they aren't telling the truth.

depends upon what their truth is. what you believe to be true I may not and what I believe to be true you may not. therefore when I tell you what I believe to be true you may consider what is stated a lie. a lot of what is truth depends upon what culture, society and belief systems along with the various biases a person has.

depends on who's trying to tell you the truth. if a liar is trying to tell you the truth .you'd have to make sure it's the truth be cause lies could get into trouble .

Yes, I can read people through their pattern in behavior. Also, intuition gives me the edge.
